Maya Bay Dubai: Asian flavours sublimely enhanced

This Monégasque institution has invited itself to Dubai's gastronomic scene for the enjoyment of gourmets form all four corners of the world.
In a prime location at the lively heart of Dubai, at the Turtle Lagoon sanctuary in Jumeirah Al Naseem, the MayaBay Dubai's enchanting setting unfurls decor of Asian inspiration designed by architect Sylvestre Murigneux of Hong Kong, recalling the refined atmosphere of the address in Monaco. Throughout the day, one can admire the magnificence of the Burj Al Arab, the renowned luxury hotel, just opposite, resembling a yacht.

From Chinese dim sums to Japanese tempuras and sushis, not forgetting Thai salads and curries, MayaBay Dubai cuisine, conjured up by Chef Shane Macneill, is a real ode to Asian gastronomy. The menu features signatures which ensured the success of the original MayaBay (Larmes du Tigre, Maya Crispy Duck etc.), while also presenting more contemporary proposals such as Dims Sums with caviar or Prik Pao Mangkorn (wok lobster, prik pao sauce). Favourites on the menu include Yam Ped Top Tim (duck salad with cress, grapes, celery, sweet plum sauce), Gindara No Saikyo Miso Yaki (a traditional dish based on black cod cooked over olivewood, with miso and honey), but also candyfloss with or without chocolate sauce!

Run in the United Arab Emirates by Orange Hospitality - which also runs, among others, Il Borro Tuscan Bistro Dubai, elected on several occasions "Best Restaurant of the Year" in Dubai -, MayaBay Dubai sees itself as a flagship address on the city's nightlife scene. For its bar with impressive cocktails revolving around the four natural elements, its cigar lounge, and a finely-tuned selection of vintage Japanese whiskies, but also for its programme of concerts and DJ sets guaranteeing unforgettable nights in Dubai.
