The timeless stylishness of Lalique joins the refined world of the Maya Hotel. The Manager of Lalique’s Interior Design Studio, Adeline Lunati unveils a sensitive, poetic and spellbinding project.
Mutual trust between M. Pastor and Sylvestre Murigneux, shared by the Maya team, already won over by the DNA of Maison Lalique. Their open-mindedness and curiosity allowed us to create an exclusive, bespoke project.
We have designed customized creations in crystal, associated with pieces from Lalique’s emblematic collections. They all revolve around three founding themes dear to René Lalique: Fauna, Flora, and Women.
It is a bouquet of 39 lustrous gold anemones made of crystal, a reinterpretation of traditional floral bouquets in palatial hotels. Designed by René Lalique in 1931, this flower was initially created as a delicate ornament to be placed on a dressing table. Inspired by the Japanese style and Courchevel’s Alpine environment, this centrepiece plunges visitors into a refined atmosphere.
In the rooms and suites, pieces by Lalique have been carefully selected to add an artistic and poetic touch to the hotel’s warm, minimalist design.
The Lalique Suite is a real showcase of refinement, embodying the hotel’s elegance and fine art of living. It is simply sublime, thanks to 23 pieces (lamps, wall lights, mirrors…) from our collections. As for the Apartment, it extends over the 4th and 5th floors, and surprises with a collection of luminous Swallows majestically suspended above its private staircase. This installation recalls an open aviary where light and crystal dance in perfect harmony.
In the hotel lobby, the Lalique boutique presents a refined selection of pieces—such as pandas, a collaboration between Lalique and Chinese artist Hans Meilin. These creations embody the brand’s timeless heritage, artistic inventiveness, and expertise in crystal.
