The PDG of the Maya Collection group shares the secrets of an adventure which has become an international success story in just a few years.
It all began with the creation of MayaBay in Monaco, our iconic restaurant. The aim was simple: to offer an immersive experience, elegant but unostentatious. We have since composed a lifestyle inspired by Asia, in which each detail is palpable – from design to light, even the rhythm within the setting – while pursuing high demands for quality and attentive service.
The idea was to create places for living where the culinary experience finds its natural prolongation, giving harmony between senses and emotions. Le Refuge de la Traye in Méribel and Le Maya Hotel in Courchevel are good illustrations of this: two hotels on a human scale, designed as getaways for well-being where guests feel replenished and welcomed, as if at home.
Most importantly, we follow our clientele who live or travel to the most compelling places: Monaco, Dubai, Porto Montenegro, Doha, West Palm Beach, and soon Mykonos. These openings are seen as self-evident, though they are never opportunities taken in haste. We move forward cautiously, convinced that coherence is better than mere multiplication. Each address should reflect a certain way of living, true to our DNA, and add another fine chapter to our story, in its own way.
Our approach is based on attention to detail, products of quality, and sincere service provided for our guests. They are looking for a special, warm atmosphere. Whether for dining or a stay, we want to offer authentic moments that will touch their hearts and leave a lasting impression. Each address is an invitation to relish a moment suspended in time, to experience the world differently, which is perhaps the unique secret of happiness.
From the Mediterranean to the Middle East, and as far as the shores of Florida, the Maya Collection makes the art of hospitality travel by imagining places which rekindle a sense of wonder in those who love to be surprised.
