Escaping to the Refuge de la Traye also brings one-off experiences: classes in Savoyard cuisine with the chef of La Table de la Traye, cheese and wine tastings at La Ferme à Fromage, creative workshops, discovering local fauna at the pedagogical farm, and lots more. Cradled at the heart of a protected mountain range, the hamlet also lends itself to an array of outdoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoes, guided excursions, adventure climbing, mountain biking, foraging in the mountains… Fans of strong sensations or escapism will find everything they need.
At the Spa of the Refuge de la Traye, serenity unfolds before spectacular views of the Alps. It unfurls in the soothing vapours of the sauna and hammam, then continues outside in the caress of a heated infinity pool, where the horizon seems to melt into the sky.
