In the wake of the Maya Bay, Maya Jah and Maya Mia, the Maya Collection has been joined by a new address in Méribel, inaugurated on December 4th, 2021 when the resorts opened for the winter season. Its magnificent location is alone well worth the detour. At an altitude of 2400 metres, right on the slopes of the world's largest skiing domain, the Maya Altitude enjoys stunning views of the French Alps. Its vast terraces in fact offer a 360° view of the Vallée de Belleville and the majestic peaks of Mont Blanc.
The Maya Altitude is an inviting chalet restaurant with a comforting warm atmosphere, a wonderful refuge in very cold weather. Inside, the cosy, colourful decor of Himalayan and Tibetan inspiration has been entrusted to Hong Kong architect Sylvestre Murigneux who has worked on several projects in the Collection, including Le Refuge de la Traye.
Accommodating up to 300 guests, the Maya Altitude dining-room is distinguished by the presence of an imposing Charcoal Grill, a butcher's block, and a cellar for maturing meat. The Master of the House, Stéphane Hulot, will be delighted to introduce you to the menu in high-end brasserie style proposed by the Maya Collection's Executive Chef, Christophe Dupuy, in collaboration with star-rated Chef Akrame. While giving precedence to specialities from Savoy, it has been compiled to see that your discover two exceptional cooking techniques, those of the charcoal and Tandoor ovens. Whether for your fish, meat or vegetables, the choice is yours!
