In Monaco, Maya Mia celebrates Italy with all the flair it has to offer: flavoursome freshness and convivial tables. The restaurant reopened its doors with a simple credo: do what’s right, fair and true, without ever compromising on quality. The result? Authentic, generous and affordable cuisine. 

Here, nothing is static. The menu changes with both seasons and desires: antipasti, “vitello tonnato”, plump tomatoes with “mozzarella di bufala”, pasta flambéed with cheese, pizza with truffles… A generous selection made of fresh, locally sourced produce. And the cherry on the tiramisù? Heartfelt cuisine served with a smile, in the purest spirit of the trattoria. 

At Maya Mia, Italy also manifests itself in music. To begin with, a plank, two trestles, a few Italian records, and a DJ. “We wanted to recreate the warmth of a village fete without taking ourselves seriously,” says the Manager. Since then, Wednesday evenings have become a real Monégasque institution. Through laughter, Italian accents and clinking glasses, the atmosphere expresses the simple joy of sharing. 

The secret of success?
