Why did you decide to set up your artisanal bakery in the Condamine market?
Monaco is a multi-facetted destination that blends tradition with innovation. It constantly re-invents itself. It also stands out for its population comprised of different cultures and horizons. A very valuable asset. For me, markets are also places for sharing and encounters where you come across the locals, but also tourists passing through. Markets always offer the promise of new products, new encounters. It seemed obvious to me to open the Mitron Bakery here.
Your ideal day in the Principality?
It always begins with a detour via the Condamine market for breakfast. After chatting with a few people I know and come across on the stalls, I like to walk around the Port to the Place du Casino. In summer, I occasionally also treat myself to a pause for relaxation in the afternoon, at the Monte-Carlo Beach. Finally, in the evening, I like to dine at Yoshi and then have a drink at Le Blue Gin.
Your three "must" addresses in Monaco?
Your simply must visit Monaco's Oceanographic Museum which always stages amazing exhibitions and supports fine projects focusing on respect for the environment. For fans of top-notch cuisine, I recommend the Louis XV restaurant of Chef Alain Ducasse. I often take my family and teams there. And finally, Monaco's Opera House, where I go regularly with my wife Julia, for a break from our everyday lives while attending a concert or play.
